Nintendo Declares War Against Sony.

March 31, 2009 by Jack Belmont

With the announcement of the Playstation 2 being 99.99$ the big N has decided to strike back. Nintendo has said that they will lower the price of their console as well and promise new Mario and even more third party support. (Jump!)

Nintendo has lowered the price of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System to 150$ to compete with the recent price drop of the 9 year old Playstation 2. On top of that Nintendo has announce Super Mario Bros. 3 Super Metroid and promising third party games like Chrono Trigger and Mega Man X.

In a recent conversation a rep said “We at Nintendo feel it is time to lower the price of the SNES and push sales to compete in todays’ market. We hope to encourage new gamers to support our products at Nintendo and enjoy and new generation of gaming.” The rep also reported on a price drop of he Gameboy Pocket later this summer.

I’m Jack Belmont reporting on Sony’s numerically challenged staff.

If you didn't understand this piece of advice, it's because you don't play Animal Crossing, and therefore, are not a complete idiot. Congratulations.
