It would seem Sega is no longer a franchise but more importantly the video game industry has moved on from strictly 2D games. A pity really, since all that is Comix Zone will be lost forever.
The lost classic for the Genesis about a artist named Sketch Turner who gets sucked into his own comic by the evil Mortus was introduced by harsh critics. People often say it’s “too hard” as you only get one life, sometimes two and “too short” I beat the game this morning in 45 minutes (or so the pause clock said), it was also released far too late into the life span of the Genesis to be played by anyone. With that said the game is often touted as great, with it’s rockin soundtrack, killer graphics, cool in panel fighting (was a great idea in the day) and fun combat.
To make matters worse, the good ending gives you the warm and bubblies with everyone living a good life, but then it says “Until...” Until what? C’mon Sega, get your ass in gear and throw sketch and Road kill in another adventure. You can’t just say “Until” and not ever let us know, release it at launch or a year into the next console and watch you gain a franchise. Hell trade favors and release it on launch of the PSP2. If you need funds, don't make six bad sonic games a year, if you need time, same goes, If you need help, Email me, ANYTHING, just bring this back.
As Sketch would say, Se-e yah!
