The Daily Toreador reports that Gamefly has installed their first Game Rental Kiosk (think of those DVD rental machines you see in supermarkets all over) on Texas Tech's campus.
According to the story "It will cost $1.99 for Wii games and $2.49 for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 games, Spector said. The G-Box also will offer a rent-to-buy option." and "The G-Box will come stocked with games for several platforms, including Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Wii".
Well students at Texas Tech, you can kiss your futures good-bye. As if the temptations on a college campus weren't bad enough with booze, sex, parties, and pranks, now you can add instant gratification gaming to that list.
Who needs to do homework when you can pickup a new game instead? Then again, this could be educational. Why read a long boring book on the history of bikers, when you have Grand Theft Auto IV and a quick download of The Lost and Damned so readily available!
