TODAY'S TOPIC: Famitsu.com has said that the Wii has sold 7 million copies in Japan and 35 million worldwide. Two Bit News reports.
What you need to know before you go back to playing the Wii you undoubtedly have:
- The Wii sold it's 7 millionth unit in Japan
- That puts the Wii just over 35 million worldwide since it came out in 2006
- 7 Million is about 3x the amount that Playstation 3 (2.37 million) has sold.
- Wii's online fuctionality is still crap, says the internet nerd in all of us.
- Nintendo has started a trade in program in order to help more people get a system in time for Christmas. Simply turn in your eldest male child and you can purchase one for just $200!
- Look for Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 to try to bu your love with lower costs or bundle deals in the near future.
