Sony announced accidentally that Firmware Update 2.4 will be coming out soon for PS3 and VideoGamesBlogger.com picked it up.

What does this mean to you the hardcore gamer and frustrated PS3 owner? Well, it won't suck QUITE as much. The patch is rumored to drop in June 2008 and will add friends list, messaging, and soundtrack manipulation, since if you're anything like me, you're getting very sick of the Muzak developers are dropping on us in menu screens these days!
