Flame Puppy: Free Flash Game Review

A new AddictingGames.com original game, Flame Puppy, has amazingly high production value for a free flash online game.
It has just the right amount of silly humor that we love so dearly here at 2BN mixed with addictive and fun gameplay. Not to mention the wonderful crisp, clean, cell shaded graphics.
The biggest knock on the game would be the incredibly simplistic AI. While this is an area most Flash games suffer, and therefore is understandable, it doesn't make it any less frustrating when the enemies simply back away from you over and over while you are surrounded by more and more mailmen, with little to no chance of catching them.
Other than those occasional nuisance situations Flame Puppy is a very solid game.
SCORE:
Graphics: 9.5 - A major standout among flash game platformers.
Gameplay: 8 - The AI messes up a few times, but most of the time it won't bother you as you waste the hours away.
Sound: 7 - Good music, there's nothing to hate, but there's nothing to go crazy over either.
Creativity: 7 - Humor wise it has a lot to offer, but it's still a 2D platformer.
Overall Score: 8 - Well worth playing through once, but I didn't find myself wanting to play anymore after that.
