Capcom announces "Near Super Nintendo Speeds!!!"


In response to Devil May Cry 4 [DMC4] taking 20 minutes to install the first time you put it into your PS3, spokesperson Chris Kramer advises, as a solution, that you simply take a break and make a sandwich. This has been a hot topic as of late, but even more interesting is his boasting that follows. Says Kramer, "Once installed the PS3 version of the game has near-Super Nintendo speed load times."

Sony to use "exciting" new proprietary format

Sony announced on Nov. 29th, 2007 that Playstation 3 will soon employ yet another brand new media format entitled "Ultra Disc Play Go". It will hold up to 6,000GB of data, have unheard of read and transfer speeds of 150GB/sec, and is estimated to cost roughly $200 per disc-tape-type -device-thingy-it's-made-of.
