Mad about Madden! NFL video games exclusive rights lawsuit

In a report from Gamespot.com [1] it was found that a class-action lawsuit was filed by plaintiffs that feel that EA's exclusive rights to NFL video game production hinder the genre and is "blatantly anticompetitive conduct".

Now, a lot of blogs are spinning this negatively at the football gamers, but we here at Two Bit News are all about long argumentative battles, especially in court, over issues that really aren't that important to society. So when we heard of one that coincidentally is a subject we agree upon we decided it was worth a post to show our support!

To the plantiffs:

On behalf of all gamers in the world that want higher quality games, we salute you!

On behalf of people standing up for what they believe in, despite what society tells you, we salute you!

On behalf of discount game prices, we salute you!

On behalf of running the ball to the right over and over gaining 5 yards each time until the clock runs out and kicking the winning field goal, we salute you!

On behalf of a freakin' Mario (American) Football game already, we salute you!

Keep fighting the good fight for video gaming freedom!
